Stone World Magazine to Sponsor Areas at StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas 2009

DALLAS, TX --  StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas 2009 is excited to announce that Stone World Magazine will sponsor Stone LIVE!, StonExchange and the Stone Innovation Pavilion at this year’s show.

Stone LIVE!, which is also presented by the Stone Fabricators Alliance, is a special area on the show floor where attendees can gather to watch industry specialists perform demonstrations of challenging stone installation techniques.  All sessions are included with admission to the exhibits and there are several sessions each day that the expo is open.

"For the past few years, StoneLIVE! has given attendees the unique opportunity to watch stone industry professionals demonstrate their craft first-hand,” states Michael Reis, editor and associate publisher of Stone World.  “This year's lineup of demonstrations provides an excellent representation of the latest issues our industry members are seeing in the field today -- in stone fabrication as well as in installation and maintenance."

StonExchange is an area dedicated to open discussions of the industry’s hot topics.  Each session is led by experts from such organizations as the MIA, NSC, Stonecarvers Guild and CCI.

"With so many issues facing our industry today, it is more important than ever for members of the stone trade to meet with their colleagues and share ideas,” states Reis.  “The sessions offered as part of StonExchange provide attendees with a chance to learn more about what our industry is doing to collectively face the many challenges we are seeing in the current marketplace."

The Stone Innovation Pavilion, formerly the New Product Pavilion, is a showcase of the stone industry’s newest products, sustainable offerings and innovative solutions.  Located just inside the main entrance to the exhibit hall, this section of the show floor is consistently rated among the best attractions by attendees.

“With Stone World as a sponsor of these high visibility areas, we are deepening our relationship with one of the industry’s leading publications,” states Dana Teague, Show Director for StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas 2009.  “They have been key contributors since the show’s beginning and we look forward to continuing our partnership in the future.”

StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas is owned and produced by Hanley Wood Exhibitions and will be held October 21-24, 2009 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Marmomacc is owned and organized by Veronafiere, held annually in Verona, Italy. Its 44th edition will be held September 30 – October 3rd, 2009.
